well, nothing except the amazing feeling that you’re standing on the edge of a huge ship’s prow as you peer at the spectacular view offered from the great room, which is framed with massive glass walls and juts dramatically over the valley floor below. the edge side pool also lends this airy feeling of presiding over an ocean - although in this case the ocean is comprised of twinkling lights from the city below.

occupying a wedge shaped plot, this uniquely angular 4,400 square foot home was originally built for famed race car driver james jeffords in 1989 and has been called the quintessential party pad because of its huge open entertaining areas and specially situated guest rooms, which offer the ultimate in privacy.

the spanning great room is triangular in form and framed by dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows that offer generous views beyond. decor is minimalist chic, featuring ample sprawling lounge areas and a mix of neutral contemporarary funishings and vintage 1960s clear acrylic pieces.

design here pays special homage to sharp angles and clean lines and a triangle motif that prevails throughout the residence. unexpected spaces, sharp angular architectural decisions and startling views combine to make this a truly special places that never fails to delight.
